The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) – the accredited professional organization of Electronics Engineers (ECE) and Electronics Technicians (ECT) announces that its Bohol Chapter is now accepting memberships.
According to the New ECE Law (RA 9292), all practicing Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians must be members of IECEP through its local chapters. Membership to the organization is mandated by this
law when one is converting from the old Electronics and Communications Engineering license to the new Electronics Engineer. Membership is also necessary for those who are new Electronics Engineers and
Technicians as well as when upgrading to the new Professional Electronics Engineers license (PECE).
Electronics Technicians who are practicing their profession with a minimum of seven years may also avail of the no board examination licensing. The deadline of the application for license to PRC is on May 27, 2009.

Meanwhile, IECEP - Bohol Chapter congratulates its new members who passed the March, 2009 ECE Board Examinations namely Engr. Jorge Apolinar, Engr. Ismael Corloncito, Engr. Ian Joseph Honculada, Engr. Joseph Madera and Engr. Junefif Nuera.
